Inside Israel’s War Cabinet: Ron Dermer on the Battles That Changed Everything

In the latest episode of the One Jewish State podcast, former U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman sits down with Ron Dermer, Minister of Strategic Affairs of Israel. The two previously worked together on the Abraham Accords back in 2019, and on this episode they had many topics to cover.

Ambassador Friedman and Minister Dermer talked about the difficult situation in Gaza, what a victory over Hamas would look like, and a future plan for transforming and then rebuilding Gaza in a post-war world. Also covered in depth were the smashing successes of battlefield victories over Lebanon, Syria to a degree, and of course the rapid 12 day war with Iran which resulted in a resounding victory. Additionally, the warm and evolving relationship between Israel & UAE was brought to light.

Dermer goes on to discuss the special relationship between Israel and America, and that after a dramatic spate of victories by Israel, America is now appreciating and relying on Israel more than ever, both in the Middle East and globally as well.
